Amazon has launched it’s media streaming device Fire TV Stick in India. Amazon Fire TV Stick is a Streaming media Player that plugs into an HDTV that lets you watch movies, TV shows, use apps and play games. You can access movies, TV shows and songs from Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Hotstar, Netflix, Eros Now, Airtel Movies, Gaana, Saavn, Voot and many more services. Fire TV Stick runs a full version of Android with Amazon’s skin on top.

Amazon Fire TV Stick is powered by quad-core MediaTek processor and has 802.11ac dual-band WiFi. It comes with Amazon’s Alexa Voice Remote, which lets you search for content using just your voice. The language support for Indian customers for Voice remote is available in Hindi and English.

Price and Availability

Amazon Fire TV Stick is priced at Rs. 3,999 for Prime as well as non-Prime customers and is available from Amazon.in. The prime members will get Rs. 499 as cashback to their Amazon Pay balance and non-Prime customers will get a 1-year subscription to the Prime video service.

How to set up Amazon Fire TV Stick?

It is easy to setup and use, you can just plug it in to your HDTV and enjoy thousands of Bollywood, Hollywood and Regional language movies and TV episodes, songs and games. All you need to have: 

  • An Amazon account
  • HDTV with HDMI input
  • High Speed Internet with Wi-Fi (Recommended speed 4Mbps or more)

You can plug your Fire TV stick into any TV’s HDMI port, connect to Wi-Fi and continue watching using your Amazon account.
