Google has fixed the Pixel’s annoying Bluetooth Connectivity Bug

Are you owning any one of Google Pixel or Pixel XL smartphone? You might have encountered an annoying bug related to Bluetooth connectivity. In this bug, the phone’s Bluetooth connection would randomly shut off (being disabled automatically). You would not expect this kind of software bug in the device which costs $650+.

The Bluetooth connectivity bug was first detailed last month after Google released its February Security Patch. Google reported that they will provide a fix for this bug. They also said that the fix would be rolled out “in an upcoming release”.

Google has now announced that they have fixed the issue and it will be rolled out to Pixel devices shortly. A Google community manager has shared that the fix is currently in place, courtesy of a server-side change. Therefore Google Pixel or Pixel XL users will no need to update their devices.

Some Nexus 6P users also reported this issue earlier, we are expecting the bug is fixed for Nexus 6P users. Keep us posting in comment section if you are still facing the same problem.
