Huawei has announced the Honor 8 smartphone in China. Honor 8 features a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display and packs the 4GB of RAM powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC with i5 co-processor. The newest member of the Honor series runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1 on top. The main highlight of the smartphone are the dual 12-megapixel rear cameras for brilliant photography experience.
Honor 8 smartphone supports a slim body with metal frame with glass back. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the back. The device comes in a choice of 3GB RAM with 32GB storage option and 4GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB storage option. It features a hybrid SIM slot that lets you use the second slot as a microSD expansion slot when required.

The Honor 8 will be available in three variants, a 32GB storage full version netcom / carrier edition for 1999 yuan (US$ 299 / Rs. 20050 approx.), a 4GB RAM with 32GB storage entire network version for 2299 yuan (US$ 343 / Rs. 23,050 approx.) and a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage entire network version for 2499 yuan (US$ 374 / Rs. 25,070 approx.). It comes in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue color options. The honor 8 is now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from July 19th.
