LG has finally decided to make it a roll and confirmed that the LG V10 and LG G4 smartphones will get the Nougat update. The confirmation came in the form of a official post on LG Korea official page which states that the LG Electronics has decided to support Android 7.0 upgrade for G4 and V10. It has already rolled out the Nougat update for the LG G5 back in November last year. The LG V10 Android Nougat update and LG G4 Android Nougat update will hit the devices later this year.

According to the official post,

Both models were designed to deliver the best performance in Android 5.0 and 6.0 environments, with a single OS upgrade. However, LG Electronics respects the right of customers to choose, so we have carefully considered whether or not to upgrade the OS. We are considering how much the current situation and upgrading can bring value to consumers.

Adding to this, LG also describes the time frame for the Nougat roll out to both the devices. LG said that it plans to support Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG V10 in the second quarter of 2017, which is between April and June and for the LG G4 in the third quarter, which is between July and September.  But adding to this, company said that these schedules are for the Korean market.
