Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ Android Nougat update starts rolling out in some regions

Samsung has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S6 edge+ smartphone. The update is currently hitting the devices in Turkey and will expand to more regions in coming days. Earlier this month Galaxy S6 and S6 edge have received the Nougat update and then Galaxy Note 5 follow the same last week. This follow the earlier report published by Samsung Turkey last month, where it revealed the timeline for the Android Nougat roll out for Galaxy S6/S6 edge and Note 5.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus brings the G928CXXU3CQC7 firmware version and size around 1374,26MB. Along with the Android Nougat features, the update brings Blue Light filter mode for the display, ability to adjust screen resolution to save battery, a cleaner look, Samsung Pass and the option to put apps to sleep.

The OTA rollout is currently hitting the devices in Turkey, and may soon to begin in more regions in coming weeks. So sit tight and hope it will reach to your device soon.
