Samsung Pay officially launched in India, supports Paytm wallet too

Last week, Samsung has started accepting registrations for early access to it’s Samsung Pay service in India. And today, the company has officially launched its mobile payment service in the country. If you have registered for the early access program, then you can now use the Samsung’s mobile payment service. Registered users be able to set up their Samsung Pay account and start using it for payments.

The service currently supports credit cards and debit cards (MasterCard and Visa) from banks including Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Standard Chartered.Samsung Pay app also allows you to add your Paytm wallet accounts in the app.

Supported devices include the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7/S7 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) in India. All these devices were updated with the Samsung Pay app through recent software updates.
