It looks like Android Nougat wait for Galaxy Note 5 users will end very soon. Samsung has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy Note5. The update is currently hitting the units sold in Turkey. This follow the earlier report published by Samsung Turkey last month, where it revealed the timeline for the Android Nougat roll out for Galaxy S6/S6 edge and Note 5. Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge received the Nougat update earlier this month.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Android Nougat update comes with firmware version N920CXXU3CQC7 in Turkey. The OTA update size is about a 1.3GB download. As the Android Nougat is now rolling out to Galaxy Note 5 units in Turkey, we hope that the Nougat OTA roll out will soon reach globally. It may take some time to reach you, as Samsung’s rollouts usually go country by country. But the flagship phablet from 2015 will surely be getting it soon.
