Samsung has already announced the Android 7.0 Nougat based ‘Galaxy Beta Program’ for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphone. All Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphone users can get a feel for Android 7.0 Nougat3 with Samsung’s latest UX. They can also provide feedback on performance, reliability, and usability. It will help Samsung developers to develop reliable, high-performing software and provide an improved and optimized experience to all Galaxy users.
If you want to participate in “Samsung Galaxy Beta Program”, you should have an active Samsung account and must first register for the beta by downloading the Galaxy Beta Program app through Galaxy Apps. Once you will complete the registration and the application is accepted, you will be able to install the best test software on their Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge device. Please note the Galaxy Beta Program app can be installed after upgrading to the latest official version of the app.
Below are the steps to sign up for the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program-
- Open the “Galaxy Beta Program app”.
- Tap “Start”.
- Tap the “menu button” in the top-right corner.
- Now tap “Registration”.
- FAQ will appear, Read it and then tap “Registration” at the bottom.
- Tap the checkbox next to “I agree” and then tap “Agree” at the bottom.
Once registered, it may take some time for your account to be selected to receive the update. Once the update is available, you will receive a software notification to download the latest beta software update. If you are not sure about the status of your software update, please follow below steps-
- Go to “Settings”.
- Tap on “About Device”.
- Tap “Download updates” manually.
Note: Software update will only be downloaded once your registration has been selected for the Beta Program. Right now, Samsung Galaxy Beta Program is in high demand, so its possible you many not get a spot at the time of registering but just keep checking, spots can be available at any time.
