The Xperia X units that the part of Sony’s Concept for Android program, will receive the Android 7.1.2 update for Experimental track sometime this week. The Xperia X Concept users get regular updates with latest Android security patches as well as new features, and now Android 7.1.2 is heading to them.
Android 7.1.2 update includes some of the key features:
- Improved fingerprint swipe performance
- Bluetooth connectivity improvements
- Battery usage alerts
- Other fixes
“As may be expected, the fingerprint swipe is still not part of Concept,” Sony says. Plus, “the setup wizard will only work with WiFi.” But the other features will be available with the update.
