Sony Mobile has launched the Xperia XZs smartphone in India. The Xperia XZs is the successor of last year’s Xperia XZ and was announced at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona last month. Basically, the Sony Xperia XZs is an Xperia XZ with Motion Eye camera. Sony says about it’s Motion Eye camera that it captures movement the human eye can’t normally see, with astonishing precision and detail.
The Xperia XZs has a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with Super slow motion video recording, plus Predictive Capture that’s ready to take photos before you are. It has Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology and 5-axis image stabilisation for shake-free videos. It is backed by RGBC-IR sensor for natural color rendering. It can record 4K video. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Xperia XZs has a 5.2-inch 1080p display and is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes in 32GB and 64GB (dual-SIM) internal storage variants with support for microSD card up to 256GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has IP65/68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also has fingerprint sensor.
Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia XZs is priced at Rs. 49,990 in India and will be available from April 11th. The pre-orders for the phone will start on April 4th till 11th at all Sony Center, select retail outlets and online exclusively on Flipkart. Those who pre-book the phone will get a Free Wireless Bluetooth Speaker SRS-XB10 worth Rs. 4,990.
