HTC announced a smaller version of HTC U Ultra dubbed as HTC U Play which features 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. It is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor and packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM.
This has same glass design with a metal frame and HTC Sense Companion for AI-based which will learn about you and offer intelligent suggestions time to time. It also learns important applications installed in your device, important contacts, and surface related notifications on the second screen. It also indicates that you may run out of power before bedtime. Therefore it also advises you when to charge your device.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the HTC U Play packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It has Hybrid dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD) slot. Connectivity Options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB 2.0 Type-C.
