Qualcomm, the American global semiconductor company has launched Snapdragon 821 processor, successor to its high-end mobile processor Snapdragon 820. The new processor is 10% faster than Snapdragon 820.
In the previous version (Snapdragon 820) maximum speed was 2.15GHz but Snapdragon 821 will claim 2.4GHz and the processor remains a quad-core Kryo. The Adreno 530 should have a slightly higher clock.
We are excited to tell you more about Snapdragon 821 features and specifications but Qualcomm is yet to publish the full specifications of it. Company has also not revealed about the devices which will powered by this processor, but has confirmed that commercial devices running on Snapdragon 821 will launch in second half of this year.
