Coolpad company launched a new selfie centric smartphone today known as Coolpad Mega in India. This smartphone has a metal frame and 5.5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass. The main USP of this smartphone is- its 8MP front camera, which has a wide 83.6 degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. It comes with Smart Beautification mode that will help users to customize selfies and detect a user’s age automatically, that’s why we are calling it selfie centric smartphone. The rear camera of this device is also 8MP with Sony image sensor and auto focus feature..
If we talk about its processor- this smartphone is powered by 1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It also has 3GB RAM along with 16GB internal storage. Internal storage can be expended upto 32GB using microSD card. Its a Dual Sim smartphone run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS with CoolUI 8.0.
It has 2500mAh battery. Company promises that it give backup 20 hours of standby time and 9 hours of talk time.
