If we recall “#SelfieWithFlash”, Gionee was about to launch new smartphone in scheduled event on 22 August 2016 and as promised, company has launched its latest selfie-focused smartphone in India, dubbed as Gionee S6s. This new smartphone is priced at Rs. 17,999. The main highlight of this smartphone is its 8 megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash. That’s why it called as Selfie-centric smartphone. It is Gionee’s first selfie-centric smartphone.
Gionee S6s has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.3GHz Octa-Core Mediatek MT6753 Processor with Mali T-720 GPU and runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo 3.2 UI. Its has Hybrid Dual Sim Slot i.e. you can insert a micro SIM and anyone from nano SIM and microSD card.
It has a 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card. It has 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and Sony IMX258 sensor. As we mentioned earlier about the front camera which is main highlight of this smartphone, it has 8MP front camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. Which will help you to capture good quality selfies.
