Google has launched company’s latest smartphone Pixel 8a in Pixel series in India, ahead of the Google I/O next week. The premium smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display that offers 120Hz refresh rate for seamless experience. The latest pixel smartphone is 40% brighter than Pixel 7a.
Google Pixel 8a packs Google’s own Tensor G3 SoC chipset Titan M2 security chip for powerful performance in a secure environment. The phone runs on Android 14 out of the box and will receive software support for seven years along with OS upgrades and security update, said the company.
As for as the camera point of view, the Pixel 8a smartphone’s camera comes with many added features to give you an amazing photography experience. You will get features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Circle to Search along with Super Res Zoom up to 8x for ultra shooting experience.
If we talk about camera specs, the Pixel 8a comes with a 64MP rear camera with OIS and 4K recording. You will also get an additional 13MP ultra-wide secondary camera on the back for improved photography experience. For selfie lovers, the phone packs a 13MP on the front with 4K recording capability like the rear camera.
Design and Color Options
The Google Pixel 8a has a premium design with rounded edges, matte back finish at the back and polished Aluminum frame for a refined look when compared to earlier Pixel smartphones. The phone comes in two new A-series limited color variants – Bay and Aloe – along with classic Obsidian and Porcelain color options.
The phone also offers IP67 ratings for water and dust resistance for rugged user experience. It has a slightly bigger battery compared to Pixel 7a’s 4385mAh battery as it packs a 4492mAh battery with 18W fast charging along with wireless charging.
