Huawei Honor 6X announced – Dual rear camera, 4G VoLTE, 5.5-inch 1080p display

Huawei has announced company’s latest mid-range smartphone – Honor 6X – at an event in China. The Honor 6X features a dual-camera setup on the back with a 12 megapixel main camera with 6P lens & PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus), and a second 2 megapixel sensor on the back. It also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera. The Honor 6X also has fingerprint sensor on the back, hybrid SIM slot, 4G VoLTE support, and 3340mAh battery with fast charging.

The Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 655 16nm processor and Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 OS. On the storage front it comes in three different memory variants – 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage. It also supports further storage expansion via the hybrid microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
