Huawei has announced it’s latest premium flagship device – Honor V9 – with the specifications on the higher side. The Huawei Honor V9 was introduced at an event in China and is expected to be presented in Barcelona at MWC-2017 as the Honor 8 Pro for the global markets. It comes with a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD touch display with the resolutions of 1440 x 2560 and 515 ppi. The phone is powered by Huawei’s own processor that is HiSilicon’s latest and greatest chipset, the Kirin 960, similar to Mate 9 series.
The Huawei Honor V9 comes with the whopping 6GB of RAM along with the 64GB and 128GB memory variants. A micro SD card can be used for further memory expansion using hybrid slot as the phone comes with the hybrid dual-SIM functionality. On the camera specifications, it has dual 12 MP + 12 MP f/2.2 cameras on the back with laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video capture and an 8 MP f/2.0 camera on the front. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Huawei’s EMUI 5.0 on top. It packs a 4000 mAh battery and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Huawei Honor V9 is prices at CNY 2,999 (approx. $435 or €413 or INR 30,000) for 64GB variant in China, the 128GB model will be released later. if you are in China, you can pre-book it through Huawei’s online store and the device will be out on February 28. The phone is expected to be introduced in Barcelona at MWC-2017 as an Honor 8 Pro for the global markets.
