Instagram brings ‘Pinch to Zoom’ on photos and videos to iOS app

Finally Instagram listened to it’s audience and starts supporting most demanded feature – ‘Pinch-to-Zoom’ on it’s iOS app. Instagram has started rolling out pinch-to-zoom feature to it’s iOS app. Starting today, you can zoom in on photos and videos in the main feed, on profile pages and on the Explore tab.

Instagram posted a video announcing the feature that shows of what pinch-to-zoom will look like and how it works. The update, version 9.2, is now available for download for iOS users on the App Store. If you can’t find the update there, you may need to force-close the Instagram app before pinch-to-zoom becomes available to you.

As of now, this feature is available to iOS users, Instagram user on Android have to wait a little more to get this support. But not too long, Instagram says the Zoom will be available on Android in the coming weeks. No word on Windows support though.
