Earlier, the company teased about the launch of Lenovo P2 smartphone in India soon but now the launch date of this smartphone is confirmed. Lenovo P2 smartphone will be launched in India on Jan 11 and will be exclusively on Flipkart. It features 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display and powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has a metal body along with a fingerprint sensor on the front.
It is a dual SIM smartphone and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It is kitted out with 13MP camera with dual-tone LED flash at the back, 5MP front shooter, and a 5100mAh battery. We are expecting 3GB and 4GB variants to be launched in India with storage of 32GB. Lenovo P2’s price in China is CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,500) for 4GB RAM & 64GB storage variant. Due to above differences, we can expect it will carry a significantly cheaper price tag in India.
