As promised earlier this week, Sony has started rolling out a new Nougat-based Android Concept firmware update for the Xperia X. The new update with firmware build number of 38.1.A.0.367 bring VoLTE support for the device. In addition to the VoLTE compatibility, the new update comes with Android security fixes for November (to fix the ‘Dirty Cow’ exploit), fix for camera-related crashes, and the latest Xperia Home version (10.2.A.1.16).
Initially the update is available only for German carriers Telekom, Vodafone and Telefonica/02. It will be followed by the roll out in the UK and Spain to add the VoLTE support on respected carriers.
