Google I/O is just a few weeks away ( dated 14 May) and we are expecting a new form of Wear OS 5 and a new Android TV version

The company unveiled some of the major updates this Thursday including giving hints on some of the major announcements.

What caught major attention was the launch of Wear OS 5 that might have new features such as watch face format.

As per a previous report we were expecting it to be based on Android 14. Google has also shared more emphasis on this new launch – including dynamic watch faces and watch apps that are adaptable to various device sizes. It is also expected that the new launch is the variant of the larger 45 mm pixel watch 3.

Further it’s primary feature is a notification handling system that is expected to increase battery life and performance. In addition to this Google wallet passes and public transportation directions can also be accessed through wear OS devices in Google maps

Another breaking news that got our attention was the launch of Android TV and Google TV devices.

The last time we heard anything new about TV was during the summer of last year, when Google released the Android TV 14 beta while also abandoning Android TV 13. As of right now Android 12 from 2021 is the most recent OS version used by Android TV devices

Complementing Wear OS 5, we anticipate an Android 14 update for certain Android TV based devices (such as the future Chromecast with Google TV 4K replacement).

As of now we have not much details on what all is included in the Android TV OS platform but the IO session by Google might be a blast for developers of TV apps

Share what are you expecting to come up more in this iOS session and what all features are you expecting in the new wear os5 and Android TV 14.
