Nextbit has started rolling out the final version of the Android 7.0 update for the Robin smartphone users globally. This comes after many builds and beta updates starting November last year. The final Nougat version to Nextbit Robin comes with latest build 88 with January 5, 2017 Android security update. The update for the Nextbit Robin is around 1.5 GB in size.
The OTA update is rolling out gradually, it may take some time to reach your Nextbit Robin smartphone. But it is coming to all users in coming weeks globally.
This could be the last software update for Nextbit Robin owners, but we hope it could make to Android 7.1.1 in one year time. There will also be no more Robin smartphones as Rajor has acquired Nextbit and the company stopped selling Robin smartphones. But it promised to keep software support and security patches for the Robin smartphones until 2018.
