While many of you out there already enjoying your hands on with Nougat, but many Nexus 6P owners are still waiting for the update notification. And now after a long wait, Google made available the Android 7.0 Nougat factory image and OTA file for the Nexus 6P devices. Earlier this the Nougat factory images and OTA zip files were made available to the Nexus 5X, Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi), Nexus Player and Google Pixel C. The Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 LTE owners still have to wait a little more for the Nougat factory image.
Android Nougat factory image and OTA file for Nexus 6P are now posted and up for download from the Google Developers page. The file build is listed with the code: NRD90U. Google waited a little longer because of few battery optimization issues. Here the Nexus 6P owners feel a little happy that this file build of Android Nougat is already fixed up to September’s security patches.

If you know how to flash these files manually then you can update your eligible devices to latest version of Android. If you don’t, then you should wait for the official update notification for your device.
