Oppo R9, R9 Plus, and F1s start receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

OPPO has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the Oppo R9, R9 Plus, and F1s smartphones. All the three devices were launched last year running Android Lollipop. The update is currently hitting the units in Australia, more regions should join soon. The update brings the the latest version of the ColorOS, that will allow the OPPO R9 Plus and R9 to have a dual-sim function with 4G+3G compatibility. ”

As Usual the OTA update is rolling out gradually, it may take some time to reach you. The update is currently available to OPPO R9, R9 Plua and F1s handsets in Australlia and will expand to more regions in coming days. There’s currently no information on when other regions/markets will get the update.
