OxygenOS 3.2.8 For OnePlus 3 brings 1080p 60 fps video recording, emergency call feature

OnePlus has started rolling-out of the incremental OxygenOS version for the OnePlus 3. The new OxygenOS version is 3.2.8. In this update, the company has fixed bugs and bringing some excellent features like 1080P 60FPS video recording, emergency calling for India (Triple press of power button to trigger), Optimization of Snapchat, fixed video calling and scrolling lags. Along with these features the company has increased system stability.

Here are some highlights:

  • Added 1080P 60FPS video recording

    With this update, all OnePlus3 users can do video recording in Full HD (1080p) at 60fps. It is very helpful for those who love to do video recording using their OnePlus3 device.

  • Added emergency calling for India (Triple press of power button to trigger)

    Complying with the Indian government order, the company OnePlus has also added emergency calling for India in this OxygenOS 3.2.8 update. Once you will update your device to OxygenOS 3.2.8, you will be able to make emergency calls by triple pressing the power button. Earlier this year, in order to improve the security of women and increase accountability of the security forces, the Government of India issued an order to add panic button and global positioning system.

Note: Both above features are already available for community beta version.

  • Optimization of Snapchat, fixed video calling and scrolling lags

    Considering the reported issues by the users, the company has also worked on optimizing Snapchat to fix video calling and scrolling lags.

  • Increased system stability

    Including above updates, OxygenOS 3.2.8 brings increased system stability by improving several key areas.

  • General bug fixes

    Additionally, this update brings the fixes for some general bugs reported by the users.
