Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to it’s Galaxy S5 mini smartphone. The new update brings Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow having the software version MMB29M.G800HXXU1CPI5. Currently the update is rolling out in Russia and is hitting the Duos variant of S5 mini. The last major update it received was Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which came out in 2015.
The new update is weighing around more that 800MB, so you have to clear some space on your device to upgrade it. There’s currently no information on what other changes are included, as well as if and when the update is going to be released for other variants of the Galaxy S5 mini across the globe. In the mean time, you can check for any software upgrade notification in settings section on your device.
