Recently Sony Mobile has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat Update for Xperia Z3+ and Z3+ Dual, just after Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Xperia Z5 family. Keeping these inconsistencies aside, Sony Mobile has released a new firmware update for the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact. This new firmware update is available for all variants. This new update is tagged with the build number 34.2.A.0.292.
There don’t seem to be any other noteworthy changes included in the update, but Sony is among the first of the manufacturers to release the January security update to a significant number of its devices. As usual, OTA update takes some time to hitting your device but if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your smartphone’s Settings menu.
