Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia XZs smartphone along with the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra at the MWC 2017. The Xperia XZs smartphone is the successor of last year’s Xperia XZ. Basically, the Xperia XZs is an XZ with Motion Eye camera. Sony says about it’s Motion Eye camera that it captures movement the human eye can’t normally see, with astonishing precision and detail. The Motion Eye camera has a memory stacked sensor and records 960 frames per second, for Super slow motion video that reveals what you’d otherwise miss.
The Xperia XZs has a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with 1/ 2.3″ Exmor RS memory stacked sensor. The Xperia XZs has Super slow motion video recording, plus Predictive Capture that’s ready to take photos before you are. It has Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology and 5-axis image stabilisation for shake-free videos. It is backed by RGBC-IR sensor for natural color rendering. It can record 4K video. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
Talking about other specifications of the phone, the Sony Xperia XZs has a 5.2-inch 1080p display and is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes in 32GB and 64GB (dual-SIM) internal storage variants with support for microSD card up to 256GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and comes in both single SIM and Dual SIM variants. The Xperia XZs has the IP65/68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also has fingerprint sensor.
