Xiaomi has announced another variant of Redmi 4 smartphone in China, which is dubbed as Xiaomi Redmi 4X. It features a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, along with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes in two storage variants- 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage variant and 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage version.
The smartphone also have an option to expand the memory up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI 8 on top of it. Much like other Redmi smartphones, the new Redmi 4X comes with hybrid dual-SIM which will mean that consumers will need to choose between using two SIM cards or a microSD card along with a SIM.
It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfie lovers. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. The handset measures 139.24 × 69.96 × 8.65 mm and weighs 150 grams.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4X comes with the price tag of 699 yuan (US$ 101 / Rs. 6790 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and 899 yuan (US$ 130 / Rs. 8730 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version. The smartphone will go on sale in the month of March in Champagne Gold and Mate Black color options.
