Huawei has launched its P9 flagship smartphone in India on August 17,2016. The main highlight of this smartphone is its dual-lens rear camera setup, which has been certified by Leica, a premium-segment manufacturer of cameras and sport optics products. It includes a pair of 12-megapixel cameras with RGB and Monochrome sensors. Company says this combination delivers photos that are high on details, color, and sharpness, even in low light. Though the camera misses out on OIS, it does come with Hybrid auto-focus with laser auto-focus, Depth Focus and Contrast Focus.
Huawei P9 smartphone has a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved screen. It is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 955 64-bit octa-core processor. Company has launched globally it in two variants — 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM, and 64GB variant with 4GB of RAM. Both variants come with a microSD slot which can further expand the storage of the device.
In addition to the dual-camera setup at the back, there is also an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture and 1080p video recording. Huawei P9 is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging and fingerprint scanner. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.

Huawei P9 is priced at Rs 39,999 in India and will be exclusively available from Flipkart. In India, P9 will be available in 3GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage. Huawei is offering 2 years warranty and three months display replacement option with P9 with pick up and drop service.
