Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X to get Google Assistant integration soon, reports says

Google’s own flagships Pixel and Pixel have one of the unique selling points in form of integrated Google Assistant. So the non-Pixel Android devices owners are also want this feature, so here’s some positives for Nexus 5x and 6P owners. A new rumor suggests that the Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X will finally receive the Google Assistant integration alongside the next “major” Android update. It is coming soon, apart from this, there is no specific timeline about when this update will hit these devices.

Google Assistant will arrive on Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones soon with some major Android update. It definitely didn’t come with (at least with public beta update as of now) Android 7.1.2 update, which is now available as Public beta for eligible Pixel and Nexus devices. The owners of the Nexus 6P and 5X will have to wait until next major Android update will hit these devices later in the year.

Google Assistant is a more conversational virtual assistant offers a more polished experience that comes integrated with Google’s Pixel Phones. Google Pixel phones are the first phone with the Google Assistant built in, and the LG G6 is said to be the first such non-Pixel Android smartphone to get the Google Assistant built-in.

Google Assistant is your own personal Google, always ready to help. Tell it to do things, find answers and get things done while on-the-go. Remind yourself to stop by the store, pull up your travel photos to show a friend, or make a dinner reservation. No matter where you are or what’s on the screen, say “Ok Google” or touch and hold the Home button to get help from your Assistant.
