Acer has launched it’s premium Windows 10 smartphone – Acer Liquid Jade Primo. Acer Liquid Jade Primo supports Win10’s Continuum feature, that will turn the phone into a PC. The phone was unveiled earlier this year the Consumer Electronics Show 2016. The phone is now available through Microsoft Store for purchase.

About Windows 10’s Continuum Feature
Acer Liquid Jade Primo supports Windows 10’s Continuum, a pretty interesting feature that Microsoft has developed. The Continuum enables a Windows 10-powered smartphone to be used as a desktop PC. Use the dock to project your phone to any screen, and hook up the mouse and keyboard for a complete PC feel. Microsoft offers the desktop dock as well as a keyboard, a mouse, an AC power adapater and power cord in the box along with the phone.
Not all Windows 10-powered smartphones will support this Continuum feature, it requires the smartphone to have a Snapdragon 808 or Snapdragon 810 processor. The device also needs to have 2GB of RAM at the very least with 8GB of onboard storage (recommended 16GB storage device), Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Microsoft recommends 3GB of RAM for phones that have 1080p screens and 802.11ac WiFi and USB 3.0 Type C connectors for better performance, although 2GB of RAM is sufficient for phones with 720p screens.

Acer Liquid Jade Primo is available as an unlocked phone which includes desktop dock as well as a keyboard, a mouse, an AC power adapater and power cord in the box along with the phone. The phone is priced at $649 and is available through Microsoft store in the US.
