Check the OTA Firmware update Notification on your handset:

In this method (OTA) you don’t need to download Firmware from anywhere. The OTA update will be installed automatically without any other requirements. You need only connect your smartphone to the Internet, so below are the simple steps-

  • Go to “Settings”.
  • Press “About device”.
  • Tap on “System updates”.
  • It will show information about your Firmware.
Things to keep in mind:
  • Get your S6 Edge Plus phone connected to a WiFi network.
  • Make sure that the battery is at least 50 percent charged.

As usual the OTA update is rolling out gradually, it may take some time to reach your device.
