Update: BlackBerry extended the access to the Hub+ app suite to devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop as well.

It’s a good news for all “once a BlackBerry users” that now then can enjoy their favorite BlackBerry apps on their Android smartphone. BlackBerry announced that their productivity app suite known as BlackBerry Hub+ from BlackBerry 10 is now available on Android platform. The whole suite of applications now available to any device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. These apps are already come integrated into BlackBerry DTEK50 and PRIV Android phones.

BlackBerry Hub+ Suit includes

BlackBerry Hub+ for Android is a new suite of apps that should be familiar to any BlackBerry 10 user. BlackBerry Hub+ is a full suite of apps and services that are aimed at increasing productivity and bolstering security. The suit includes BlackBerry Hub and other BlackBerry-made apps such as Calendar, Password Keeper, Contacts, Tasks, Device Search, Notes, and Launcher.

How to Download

The Android users running on Marshmallow can now download a trail version of Hub+ for free from Google Play. All you need to go to the Google Play Store on your smartphone and search for BlackBerry Hub and download the BlackBerry Hub+ Services app. Then go to the app section of the BlackBerry Hub+ home screen and install the apps you want to use.

Ads free trial version of BlackBerry Hub+ apps is for 30 days only. After that users can continue using the apps for free by opting to view occasional ads in BlackBerry app or it costs just 99 cents a month to get the entire suite of apps ad-free.

As of now, the BlackBerry Hub+ suit for is available on the smartphones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But BlackBerry is planning to expand access to Hub+ to users running Android 5.0 Lollipop. The company is also looking to expand access to it’s Hub+ apps and services on iOS devices in near future.

If you won’t see the BlackBerry Hub+ in the Google play store on your Android smartphone, then it might me coming to you in few days. The Canadian company is rolling out the Hub+ services to Android platform and it will reach you soon.
