Gionee has introduced the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone-Gionee A1 in India. This smartphone was introduced at the MWC 2017 last month along with the A1 Plus. The Gionee A1 sports a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display (1980x1080p) display with a curved 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It runs the MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4GB RAM+64GB total storage, which is expandable to 128GB via a microSD slot.
This smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera which comes with auto-focus and f/2.0 aperture and flash. It also sports a 16-megapixel front camera which is equipped with Gionee’s customized selfie flash, with the company promising ‘enhanced facial complexions’. The front camera also comes with beauty settings, which can be customized according to the user’s needs.
The Gionee A1 runs Android 7.0 OS with Mali T860 GPU. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) slot , and connectivity options on the Gionee A1 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n（2.4GHz+5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. Gionee has also added a big 4010mAh battery to the A1 and it says that the new ‘ultrafast-charging’ charges the batteries completely in two hours.

Price and Availability
The company has not announced the price for its Gionee A1 smartphone, though the pre-booking for the smartphone starts March 31 on Amazon. Gionee is also offering a two-year warranty along with a JBL headphone or a Swiss Military Bluetooth speaker to customers who pre-order the phone.
