Samsung has announced Galaxy A3 (2017) along with Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) in it’s A series 2017 lineup. The Galaxy A3 (2017) is the smallest among the all. It features a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display with always on display feature so users can quickly glance at the time and calendar without waking up the device, saving time and battery. It is dual-SIM smartphone and also has a fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A3 (2017) has Samsung’s premium design with a metal frame and 3D glass back. It comes in four color options – Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 14nm processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, as well as expandable storage with microSD support up to 256GB. Like the other two A series smartphones, Galaxy A3 (2017) also offers IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand the elements, including rain, sweat, sand and dust. The phone runs on Android 6.0.16 (Marshmallow) and packs a 2,350mAh battery. On the camera specifications, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera.
