Unlocked variants of Moto Z and Moto Z Play are now up for Pre-order

Motorola has opened the pre-order of unlocked variant of Moto Z and Moto Z Play in the United states. Both the phones will be available for pre-order through Amazon and Best Buy. Earlier this, both the Moto phones were exclusive available to Verizon wireless, the Moto Z Force is going to remain a Verizon exclusive. The Moto Z is priced at $699.99 with 64GB of internal storage and the Moto Z Play will cost $449 with 32GB of internal storage.

The Moto Z will be released on October 2, 2016 while the Moto Z Play will release on October 20. The unlocked variants of both the phones will only work on GSM networks. If you are looking for a bigger battery option, then you should go for the cheaper Moto Z Play. The Moto Z has a 2,600 mAh battery while the Moto Z Play has a 3,510 mAh battery. Although, the Moto Z has upper hands at all other fronts having the QHD screen or Snapdragon 820, instead the Moto Z Play has a 1080p screen and Snapdragon 625 processor.

All the Moto Z phones, Moto Z, Moto Z Play and Moto Z Force – carry the same design and use the same Moto Mods. Finally, the Moto Z doesn’t carry a headphone jack (like the Apple’s iPhone 7) while the Moto Z play has a headphone jack. You can pre-order the Moto Z and Moto Z Play from the links below:
