Apple discontinues iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus & iPhone 5s but continues iOS 10 Support

Apple has launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in latest event in San Fransisco and both devices are listed on Apple’s official website while the company has delisted iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus & the iPhone 5s from its official website. These smartphones will continue to sell from Apple retail stores. It means users have only five options (online) to choose from. It’s not a common practice but also it’s not a first time that company has delisted lower versions. It was expected that company will discontinue the iPhone 5s after the launch of iPhone 7 & 7 Plus but it’s a big surprise that company has delisted iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus along with the iPhone

There is no doubt, Apple has given two new smartphones ( iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus) with some extraordinary features like advanced new camera systems, better user experience, best performance and battery life ever in an iPhone, Immersive stereo speakers, brightest & most colorful iPhone display. Both devices come with new black and jet black finishes, splash & water resistant and a New Home button. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are constructed with incredibly strong 7000 Series aluminium.

As Apple has discontinues iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus & the iPhone 5s, its doesn’t mean that these device users are completely cut out from the loop here. Apple will continue to support these devices by providing software updates etc. Below are the Apple devices which will receive the iOS 10 updates but we are not sure about the timelines for updates-
