Last we heard, Gionee has a scheduled launch event on 22 August in India and already sent the media invites. There was hashtag “#SelfieWithFlash” on invite which indicates that company has about to launch Selfie-centric smartphone.
This time company has given a clear indication in tweet to launch Gionee S6s.

Company has yet to reveal the specifications, price details about this smartphone, therefore we don’t have much information to let you know. But for sure, this smartphone will have a good quality of front camera (as tag indicates) with flash. This will be the Gionee’s first Selfie-centric smartphone. Oppo and CoolPad companies has already launched their smartphone which are Selfie-centric and Gionee is following the same pathway.
As shown in picture, this phone will have a metal body along with a fingerprint sensor. We should have all the details on the day of the launch and keep you posted for the same.
