Sony Xperia XZ is a successor to the Xperia X flagship and focuses on design, performance, camera, and battery life. The Xperia XZ has a solid metal build with a new signature Sony design and a new signature color to represent the series – Forest Blue. It also comes with water resistance technology with IP65/IP68 ratings, stereo speakers and Sony’s best mobile camera setup yet with Triple Image Sensing to measure distance correctly and track intelligently moving objects for a perfect focus and blur free shot. But unfortunately, the Xperia XZ won’t have a fingerprint scanner in the US.
If you’re looking for something from Sony with a lesser price tag and smaller size, then you should go for Xperia X Compact which is already up for pre-order on Amazon in the United States for $499.99. Amazon is also offering a $50 cashback with the pre-order of Xperia X compact in the USA which will release on September 25. The Xperia X Compact was announced along with the Xperia XZ at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. The Xperia XZ is expected to go up for pre-order soon.
