Due to iPhone’s awesome camera quality, its more than enough to carry your iPhone to capture all the special moments in form of photos or videos. But its complex to many iPhone users due to iTunes complications, when they want to transfer those pictures or videos to their PC/Laptop to make backups for future to make their memories alive. Due to these complications, people end up just letting the pictures sit idle on their iOS devices.
‘ITS NOT COMPLICATED’…because you need to just follow simple steps and also you don’t need iTunes on your system for this activity, Windows PC will automatically detect your iOS device as Camera.
So follow below steps to transfer pictures from your iOS devices to PC-
Step 1: First you need to connect your iPhone/iPad to the PC using a USB cable.
Step 2: A dialogue box might pop up asking if you want to trust this computer. Tap ‘Trust’. By doing this Windows will detect the iOS device as a camera.
Step:3 Go to File Explorer –>This PC and double-click on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 4: Go to Internal Storage –> DCIM and all the folders with your pictures and videos will appear.
Step 5: Copy and Paste whatever files you wish to save to your PC.
Troubleshoot Problem in case:
In case you are having troubles with above method, and Windows does not read the files on your iPhone, we can also fix this using below steps-
Step:1 Search for ‘Devices and Printers’ from the Start Menu and Open it.
Step:2 Now find your iPhone and right click on it, and then hit ‘Troubleshoot’.
These steps will fix any problems with the connection and Windows will let you access files on the device.
