A day after the Xperia X Performance started getting the Nougat update, Sony Mobile has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update for its flagship Xperia XZ. The OTA update is rolling out to the Xperia XZ (F8331) and XZ Dual (F8332) with build number 39.2.A.0.327. The update size is around 1GB.
The update brings a number of native Nougat features including multi-window support, customizable quick settings, redesigned notifications, improvements to Stamina battery-saver mode, enhancements to the camera and more.
The Nougat OTA update is rolling out gradually and currently available in select regions. It will reach to the all Xperia XZ variants and will hit more regions in coming days. In the mean time, you can go to your ‘Settings’ > ‘About Device’ > and then tap ‘Software Updates’.
