Sony Mobile has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia X and Xperia X Compact. The handsets that are receiving the Nougat update are Xperia X (F5121), Xperia X Dual (F5122) and Xperia X Compact (F5321). The new update brings the build number to version 34.2.A.0.266.
Currently the Nougat update is rolling out in select regions. The Xperia X and Xperia X Compact owners in Australia, Latin America, Middle East, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Vietnam are now receiving the update. A global OTA roll out is expected to begin in coming days.
Earlier to this, Xperia XZ and Xperia X Performance smartphones got the Android Nougat update. The Nougat update roll out for other eligible Xperia phones will be followed according to schedule.
