Since the Google has started rolling out it’s latest mobile OS Android 7.0 Nougat, smartphone owners are eagerly waiting for their devices to be updated. In all his time, Google has already moved from Android 7.0 to Android 7.1 to Android 7.1.1. which includes several new features and improvements. Google Pixel and Nexus device owners are already enjoying the Android 7.1.1 Nougat release, also the LG V20 users who are running Android Nougat out of the box.
Not sitting far behind, different smartphone manufacturers have also confirmed their list of eligible devices that will get the Android Nougat update. Some of them like as Sony, HTC, Motorola, Huawei have also begun the official Nougat roll out to some of these devices. Many of you might still be wondering whether your device will be getting the Nougat update or even if you are planning to get a new device and want it to be running on latest OS, then here’s the list of eligible devices from different manufacturers that will get the Android Nougat update or already running on it.
Before starting with the listings, it’s also worth to mention here that while the device listed here will get the update, but in future more devices may be added in the list. We shall regularly add new devices to the list as and when manufacturers announce the update plans.
Google Pixel and Nexus devices
Google’s Pixel phones and eligible Nexus devices are already rocking Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Google has already updated the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C, and General Mobile 4G (Android One) devices to the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Samsung
Samsung is already running Android 7.0 Nougat beta test for Galaxy S& and S7 edge smartphones and both the smartphones will get the Android 7.1.1 Nougat directly. Also reported that Samsung will roll out the Android Nougat update soon for its flagships Galaxy A (2016) lineup. And out of the expectations, Optus, an Australian carrier, has confirmed that the Galaxy A5 units from 2014 will taste the Nougat update. So it is expected that the Nougat roll out to Galaxy A5 (2014) won’t be limited to Australia and will be released globally on respected carriers. These are the only devices confirmed to get the Nougat update.

Motorola
Motorola has released a full list of devices that have been confirmed to receive Android 7.0 Nougat. The Moto Z and Moto Z Force have already started receiving Nougat update as well as Moto Z Droid and Z Droid Force on Verizon. Motorola also officially released the Nougat update for Moto G4 and G4 Plus.

Sony
Sony released the list of Xperia devices that will be updated to the Android Nougat. Also the company has revealed it’s Nougat schedule for the different devices. Sony Mobile has already started rolling out the Android Nougat update to Xperia X Performance, Xperia XZ, Xperia X and Xperia X Compact.

HTC was the first manufacture to announce it’s supported devices to get the Android Nougat update. Unlocked HTC 10 has already received the update. Here’s the HTC devices that are confirmed by the company to get the Nougat update. Although the list is small, we hope HTC will add more eligible devices to the list.

LG
LG V20 is the first new smartphone that is running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, even before Google’s own Pixel phones that came with Nougat as well. LG has also announced it’s lineup of smartphones that it will showcase at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. Out the four new K series smartphones, LG K8 and LG K10 run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Also the third generation Stylus 3 smartphone will also come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Also the company’s flagship LG G5 starts receiving Android Nougat update last month. Here’s the list of LG smartphones that are on the Android 7.0 Nougat:

Other than this, the company has not released any official list of it’s other smartphone that will get the Android Nougat update.
Huawei
Huawei has also confirmed it’s list of smartphones that will get the Android Nougat update. Huawei P9 and Mate 8 smartphones start receiving official Nougat update. Earlier this week, company has also confirmed the Android Nougat and EMUI 5.0 update for Honor 8 in February 2017. Adding to this, Huawei announced the Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro that run on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.0 out of the box.

Xiaomi
Xiaomi recently confirmed Nougat update for a range of devices. The company has already officially released the Android Nougat update for Mi 5 smartphone. Here’s the list of devices that will be getting the Nougat update:

- Xiaomi Mi Note
- Xiaomi Mi Max

OnePlus
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are expected to get the Android Nougat update by the end of this month. It will run on OxygenOS 4.0 which is based on Nougat 7.0. OnePlus 3 is already receiving the update via Open Beta 8 for Beta Testers.

Lenovo
Lenovo smartphones aren’t usually the ones to get the latest Android software early. The has not officially confirmed yet that which of it’s smartphone will enjoy Android Nougat. But as per the recent reports, Android Nougat is likely to be rolled out to the following Lenovo’s devices:

Recently, Lenovo has announced the ZUK Edge smartphone that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
ZTE
ZTE Axon 7 will receive Android 7.0 Nougat update in January. Apart from this no other ZTE smartphone is confirmed to get the Nougat update
